Clove’s Nature

Cloves are the aromatic pink flowers of a tree in the Myrtaceae family, grown in well-drained, nutrient-rich, moist soil under high temperatures with ample sunlight and rainfall. The unopened flower buds are sun-dried for several days for commercial purposes, including culinary and medicinal uses.

 

Uses of Cloves

In cooking, cloves provide a warm, sweet, and aromatic flavor that complements both sweet and savory dishes. Cloves also possess antiseptic and antibiotic properties, making them valuable as essential oils and in products like toothpaste, soap, and perfumes.

Each clove plantation supports afforestation efforts and is harvested using only traditional, sustainable methods.
